Founded in 1999 by award-winning visual storyteller Victor Spangler, Day Dreamer Productions was built on a simple mission: to combine cinematic creativity with compelling stories. Victor’s roots go back to the early 1980s, when he honed his craft in still photography and photojournalism, ultimately serving as Chief Photographer at The Daily News in Batavia, New York. His transition into video production brought the same keen eye for detail to moving images.

Our first significant milestone came with the award-winning “Rotag vs. Elon” commercial for Discount Tire Company—earning top honors for Excellence in Retail and Humor. Since then, Day Dreamer Productions has evolved into a full-service creative agency, producing:

• Live event coverage and concert IMAG (Image Magnification)

• Music videos

• 3D animations and motion graphics

• Green-screen virtual sets for TV and digital platforms

 

Our client list includes CBS, CBS Sports, Prudential Insurance, Walmart, and Peru’s Department of Tourism, alongside live performances by Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, and Michael W. Smith. We’ve also brought stories to life in television, including a series featuring NASCAR legend Richard Petty.

In 2022, Day Dreamer Productions joined forces with The Sustainable Green Team (SGTM)—merging creative vision with environmental innovation. Today, Victor serves as SGTM’s Chief Marketing Officer while continuing as President of Day Dreamer Productions, driving bold new projects at the intersection of media and sustainability.
